How do we begin?

First steps
First, make that call and arrange to meet us and discuss your manuscript.
Post your manuscript to us. We insist that you use registered post or
E-mail your manuscript to us. The Internet is an effective way of doing business. All you need is an e-mail address, simply e-mail us your finished manuscript as an attached file or cut and paste into an e-mail. Note: Please do not send unsolicited manuscripts, please telephone or email first.

What next?
Design and proofing
We will design and typeset your book. Throughout the process we will interact with you as the manuscript progresses from agreeing the basic style to final corrections using e-mailed PDF files, fax or post.
Printing and binding
We use both lithographic and digital print, the two methods differ in price and quality. The quantity, extent and type of book you wish to produce will define which method is best. As well as softback binders, we are in contact with fine craft binders and can, if required have books bound in either cloth or leather.
Print-on-Demand
Due to advances in print-on-demand technology, we can now print from a single copy upwards. This is a great low-risk way to self-publish your book.
ISBN Numbers
We are a publisher registered with the ISBN agency and will obtain an ISBN number on your behalf. An ISBN number (International Standard Book Number) is a number that allows your book to be identified worldwide. For instance, a different book with the same title may exist in both England and the United States, but each will have its own unique ISBN number.
Bar Codes
A bar code allows chainstores and many independent book sellers to sell your book. A bar code expands the retail markets available for your book. If you plan on selling your books through any retail outlets, you may need a bar code for your title.
Distribution
We do not distribute nor promote your book though we do have many contacts and can point you in the direction of distributors and publicists.
